Accidents can happen when you least expect
I just got back from Bali night-stop..and guess what! On the way up to Bali just when seatbelt signs were turned off and all crew were preparing to make coffee/tea ,cart tops and loading mealcarts, one of the carts just happened to fall sideways and well i was standing just next to it...Lucky thing was i was facing the cart 'coz i was asking my LSS on how she wants the service to be so i managed to react fast but not fast enough and the cart hit the side of my right foot...
I was shocked no doubt and after a few secs the pain hit me and i cried out...immediately my LSS told me to sit down and kept putting cold compressor on it...it was a 2hr10mins flt time and we were lucky that the load was light so i was told to just sit and nursed my sprained foot. My LSS was so sweet coz all the way she kept changing the cold towel and help to massage my foot...On the other hand, the FS was feeling real bad and kept asking me how i am...he felt that it was his fault that teh cart fell as he knew the breaks werent working well and he parked the cart in such a way that he could load the meals fast and efficiently...but i know accidents can happen anytime, anywhere even if you're being real careful...i felt bad for him too coz he kept apologising and even offered me his no so that he can help reimbursed the medical fees if any....cam kelakar benar i tengok dia, betulnya tak sampai hati..
Anyway to cut story short, i feel its real nothing but my LSS kept insisting that giving treatment just after the accident is vital and now i believed her coz my foot doesnt look too swollen or bruised....the whole flt i just sat down and didnt do anything and whenever i wanted to get up and perhaps do some work, everyone kept telling me to just relax and sit still...this i believed to be the most horrible flt i ever had as im just not accustomed to just not do anything...
As we reached the hotel in Bali..i had to see the doctor so she can furthur re-assessed my condition and prescribed any furthur medications or treatment..so there goes any hopes of visiting hrc...(p/s: sorry eh shireen, didnt get for u) ..Doc advised me to keep put ice on my foot for at lest 12hrs and don't walk too much...im like laughing when she said that...
So the way back today...im stubborn and insisted on operating even tho' my IFS asked me to pax back...NO way man....and load was light too so i knew i can manage and i did...
Well im home and super duper tired ..hahah tak keja pun penat... :)
