It took more than 14hrs for the roster to be out...sheesh...i tink i cud have sprained my fingers just dialling and dialling up...
Anyway no offs just as i expected but it doesnt hurt to wish otherwise...i guess this is one of the cons of joining such a profession...weekends or public holidays are just any other day for us...be it rain or shine, night or day...we still have to work and keep our smiles on....
I still can never forget during my probation period where i was put on a 1 week standby prior to Hari Raya...and just my luck to be called for a 6-day Johannesburg flt on malam raya...U can imagine how i felt inside and outside...i was so devastated ...i tried to seek forgiveness from my parents the day; Malam Raya but i cudnt as the tears just came pouring out leaving my make-up all smeared....It was the most horrible feeling i ever had...Imagine spending raya at home every other year and to suddenly had to spend it elsewhere all alone ...my mum packed me lauk raya and with raya songs recorded in my md..i braved for work....And throughout briefing and flt, whenever i think of raya, i could just feel the tears coming...And whats werst was i was the only Malay/Muslim so i was all alone in an alien country..
Anyway that was sumtime back...at lest now i just had a turnard flt on THE day...I just hope i could give it away for off ...
Let's hope and pray hard....
