My weekend was spent attending one wedding after another...The first wedding was a dinner held on an open field(in a tent i meant :P) nx to opera primary school...The ambience was so serene...we came early at 7pm on the dot as the invite mentioned that guests must be seated by 7pm BUT just a bit of complain hor, we were seated like 7.45pm gitu and the whole dinner commenced at 8.30pm when the bride and groom arrived in a very spectacular moment. Too bad we were seated pretty far so i cudnt quite take a gd picture of the 'procession of pple' towards the dais...the m.c who is cousin to the groom is pretty hilarious as he re-enacted vocally with a gd rhyme abt how the lovebirds met, fell in love and eventually decided to be husband and wife on 4th June 2005...
Congratulations to Izwan and Linda and may u both have everlasting marital bliss blessed with gd fortune and happiness :) *jeng*jeng*jeng* the special guest was none other than our very own Singapore Idol, Taufik Batisah...he dedicated a song ' now and forever' to the couple...i was like...'damn, he was so near...yet so far....' *sigh*
but anyway cut story short, a friend of mine went backstage (behind the kemah) and came back later and asked if we gerls wud like to meet Taufik...i practically wanted to jump and say YES! haha...kau, sungguh tak malu betul kan...dah tuek tapi perangai cam budak remaja..haha! Anyway we went 'backstage', met the MAN himself, shook hands and duh, took picture lar..apa lagi...so here...pls dun shoot me ok ...haha!
ermm...ok sorry i didnt take any picture of the actual 'stars' that day since errr was caught up in a moment...but i hope when my friend comes back from his honeymoon i can beg him to develop a copy for me..haha...
Anyway dats my saturday...and sunday, yet another wedding ...my parents kinda drag us kids to go along coz Mak Mon invited whole family and tak baikkan kalau tak gi...haish..my mum ni kan like to inform me so last min abt the wedding..i hate when my plan got messed up because of this...but luckily we left early, came home and within mins, i chge gear left house to meet hun to catch a movie...so dats my day...god am i tired!!
And tomorow... i just hope my bank a/c wud not need any cpr *gulps*
p/s: pls pls pls do not watch "hitchikers' guide to the galaxy" ..it is so mengarut...A movie with absolutely no plot...bah...wat a waste of free tix :P
